ABOUT ME
Monica R.M. Bechu is a compositor, artist and graphic designer based in Mississauga, Canada, specializing in compositing, illustrating, and graphic design.
From a young age, Monica had a deep love for all forms of art. Whether it was painting, sketching, or crafting with whatever materials she could find, creativity was always at the center of her world. Her passion eventually focused on drawing, starting with fan art of her favourite cartoon characters and later evolving into anime-style illustration.
Her love for anime and drawing led her to pursue a path in animation. Over the years, Monica developed a wide range of art-based skills and grew a strong interest in film, digital media, and contemporary art. She went on to study in the 3D Animation Art & Design program at Humber College, where she spent three years honing her craft.
After graduating, she landed a position at SDFX Studios, where she currently worked as a Stereo Compositor. In addition to her full-time role, Monica runs two small businesses: one focused on graphic design and the other on handmade jewelry.
